Sippy Cup!

We've introduced the sippy cup to Isabelle a few times and just recently she's really started to show an interest in it. Maybe it's because I started giving her a little apple juice mixed in with her water? Here's a little show of the big girl in action. =)

Through her eyes...

Isabelle loves to be outside and loves looking out the window. Last night while making dinner I noticed she was very quiet so I peaked around the corner to see what she was up to and this is what I saw... little Belle perched up on her daddy's knee just gazing out the window.

This has turned into one of her favorite things to do with daddy. Whenever she is on the couch with him she stands up trying to peak over the edge of the couch until he'll prop her up. This will entertain her for quite awhile and it is just so cute to see her little eyes track all the movement and life on the other side of the glass. Pretty soon she'll be tall enough to stand there on her own to watch the world go by.

Little Inch Worm!

As I was snapping a few pictures of Isabelle for St. Patty's Day she thought it was too much fun crawling around trying to get the camera from me. I've been meaning to snap some shots of her in action to post so this was the perfect opportunity. She is really starting to get good at pulling herself around and has figured out she can move even faster on the hardwood. She has started pushing up more when she pulls herself along, but she still looks like a little inch worm!

Note: All I can see in some of these pictures are the cords lying around just waiting for her to grab them and chew. Please rest assured, I took care of all of them after taking the pictures. :)

The slideshow of the picutes is below. I couldn't get it to work in this post for some reason...

Tour of Duty

My uncle Jim deployed for Iraq this past weekend. We were honored to attend his farewell ceremony in Spokane. I took a ton of pictures so I decided a slideshow would be the best way to post them. After the ceremony we went to the Northern Lights Brewery and it was such a neat place which called for a little photo shoot with the kiddos. =)

We are so thankful and proud to have Jim as our uncle. He is such an amazing person. We will be praying for you each and every day for safety, strength, and protection. We love you and hope the next year flies by! Hurry home!

No harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:10 - 11

Teething Biscuits...

I've heard that teething biscuits are very messy, but I bought some anyways. Thought it would be fun for Isabelle to be able to feed herself. Well, I learned, they are a HUGE mess! She loved them though and was way too cute nibbling away!

On the MOVE!

We have a crawler... an army crawler that is! For the past couple of weeks Izzy has been getting up on all fours and I knew it was just a matter of time before she'd be on the move. On Sunday evening we were over visiting my parents and she was very determined to get to Dillon's marker box. And what do you know, she started pulling herself to them! It's so cute! She works so hard at it and is figuring it out more and more each day. Now it is definitely time to get the baby proofing into high gear! I need to get some pictures of her in action and will post them as soon as I do.

Not only is she crawling, but she also loves to stand holding onto things. At school her favorite is the play kitchen... she loves to play with the "older" (almost one year old) babies in her class. The other night all I had handy was my phone so I snapped a few pictures of her standing at the coffee table. They are a little blurry, but still very cute!

Here's the little supported-stander!
