Dry & Clean!

Guess who has been dry and clean at school two days in a row?

I'll give you a clue...
Any guesses?

Izzy!!!
Isabelle was moved up into the Dragonfly classroom at school about a month ago. This is the 2 and 1/2 to 4 year old classroom where they work on potty training. We have been working on going potty on the toilet for a while now (remember this?) and Izzy has been doing great in the evenings and on the weekends.

When I asked if her teachers could start putting her on the potty at school the director said she thought she was ready to move up to the next classroom... at first I was a little nervous. I don't know if it was the pregnancy hormones or just the fact that she would be the youngest by almost a year in her class. I was emotional all weekend thinking about her transition on Monday, but she was so excited. She had a fabulous day and has been doing great adjusting to her new class ever since. Her teachers are wonderful and each week is a new theme - this week is bug week. This classroom is a bit more structured and they focus a bit more on educational things. Each morning they have learning circle, calendar, and weather, they go on adventures to the park, do many art projects, have story time, and sing and dance often! Which is all right up Izzy's ally! :)

For the first few weeks Isabelle would wake up from nap wet and would have an accident or two a day. We've been working really hard on the weekends to improve the communication piece of going potty; particularly our goal of her staying clean and dry opposed to just going potty on the toilet. So far this week she has been dry and clean all day both days in a row! We couldn't be happier! She'll be fully potty trained in no time!

What great news! It's awesome that she's doing so well with the whole potty training business:)

Where does she go to school at? I'm going to be going back to work full time, and are still looking around at different options for my son Landon (16 months.)

Hope you're doing well!
