The MANY faces of Cooper!

This took a little more effort because Cooper is not nearly as dramatic expressive as his big sis. But yesterday when he was more animated than usual and in a very chipper mood I decided it would be fun to capture his faces. :)

From top left: Sad, Silly, Goofy, Grumpy, Excited, Shy, Cute, Mean, and Happy.

FOUR!

Four years ago you changed me. You impacted me in ways you won't understand until the day you are a mommy yourself. You gave me the most amazing gift; you made me a mommy. The moment I held you I knew we’d be the best of friends. I knew this is exactly what I was meant to be – your mommy and your friend.

See how proud daddy is holding you just minutes after you were born? He was smitten with you from the minute he saw you. You can get anything out of him and you better be sure to always use that to your advantage; that’s what daddy’s are for. He loves you more than any boy ever will, he thinks you are the most beautiful girl in this world, and you are his everything. Be sure to always remember that, Sister.

You are Cooper’s best friend and biggest role model. Remember when he was born? How proud you were? Thank you for teaching him everything he knows and being the best big sister ever. He looks up to you so much and wants to be just like you. I know sometimes you need your space and that’s okay, but I hope you always remember to stand up for and love your brother no matter what. I look forward to seeing you two have camp outs in the living room together, riding bikes around the neighborhood together, and going to high school together, but for now I enjoy watching you two grow together.  You both are so special!

Happy Birthday, sweet girl!!!
Here’s to being 4 and savoring every moment! We love you!

Tiny Tikes T-Ball

Isabelle started Tiny Tikes T-Ball at the beginning of July. It has been so much fun to watch her learn and improve over the month.

The best part was that she had Dillon on her team!

Wednesday was their last game so we celebrated with ice cream cones.

I'm sure you can guess who her biggest fan was. : )

I have lots of pictures on my camera from the summer to share (including more from t-ball), but I'm having a hard time finding the time to upload them to my computer. For now these pictures snapped on my phone will have to do.

We're off to the lake this weekend while the guys are off tuna fishing in Oregon and then next weekend we have the kids' birthday party. We're going with a rainbow theme at the request of the big sister. So, I'm on the look out for some fun ideas. Thank goodness we have Pinterest! Now to actually execute everything.

I'll be back with some birthday posts and some updates from the summer. Until then, we'll be enjoying the last of summer as sadly fall is just around the corner! Hope you're soaking up some sun and fun somewhere this weekend too!
